Alhambra & Generalife Gardens
Overview
Tour in a small group one of the most famous and important monuments in the world, a World Heritage Site and National Monument.
We will make a 3-hour visit where we will enter the Alcazaba of the Alhambra, the oldest military part, and with the best views of the city (Albaicin, the plain of Granada and Sierra Nevada).
You will have the opportunity to access several towers of the Alcazaba, the highest with 69 steps suitable for the brave...
The tour includes a visit to the Renaissance palace of Charles I and I will explain its history and symbolism with all its curiosities!
In the gardens of the Generalife we will visit the summer estate of the Sultans and enjoy the impressive gardens, orchards and fountains that spring continuously.
The views are spectacular to the Alhambra and the Albaicin.
(Each visitor must bring the day of the visit their purchased ticket preferably printed and their original documentation always, never photo).

On arrival
I will be at 09:45 at the door of justice of the Alhambra, you can access it by climbing the slope of Gómerez from the center (if you are in pretty good physical shape, it is about 15 minutes up a steep slope to our meeting point), or you can quickly take a red microbus in Plaza Isabel la Católica, as they pass frequently and you arrive in a few minutes to the monument. If the minibus leaves you in front of the restaurant Las Mimbres, near the ticket office, you will have to go straight down to the meeting point where I will be waiting, at the great door of justice.
(It's only a few minutes walk down).
Things to note
Please be at the meeting point 10-15 minutes before the start of our tour at 10:00 a.m.!
- Each visitor must bring their original passport or identity card, never a photo!
Each person, including children, must bring their own entrance ticket. Adults carrying children without ID must bring a family book.
- Depending on how many people are in the group, an audio guide will have to be used according to ALHAMBRA REGULATIONS.
(For example, from 2 to 4 members, the guide does not need to rent audio guides). If the number of participants increases, yes.
The cost is separate for the client, it usually costs 2 to 3 € per person to rent each audio guide and must be paid to the guide who will present a proof of payment.
They will then be able to access the monument with the group.
- Comfortable shoes.
- Do not carry a selfie stick for photos.
- It is forbidden to touch the monument, lean on columns, pluck flowers or eat. -There is a specific area for eating, but in most of the monument it is forbidden to eat or drink coffee, soft drinks, etc.
- Baby carriages will be left in the lockers available inside the Alhambra.
