Start your day trip of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in the historic Vegueta district where the city was founded at the end of the 15th century. This quarter is an important part of the city’s history, as you’ll learn on this 3-hour guided walk.

Take a walk down the narrow, winding streets, and see the oldest houses in the history of the Canarian nobility. Explore the old town and its charming churches and squares, such as Plaza de Santa Ana where Las Palmas Cathedral can be found. Visit the House of Christopher Columbus where Columbus stayed on the island on his way to discover the new continent.

Get plenty of time to explore the most charming spots of Vegueta, such as the main shopping artery of Calle Mayor de Triana. Window shop along some of the city's best shopping streets, and get some free time for lunch and to enjoy some retail therapy of your own.

At the end of the tour, your guide will take you to San Telmo Bus Station where you can catch a bus that will take you back to the South of the island. (or wherever your hotel is)
