Overview

Step into the story of Gothenburg on a walking-tour that brings the city’s past and present to life!

Together, we’ll explore the city from its most traditional neighborhoods (the historic city center, the charming streets of Haga and the vibrant neighborhood of Järntorget) discovering how –in just 400 years– a fragile military outpost became one of the most modern, sustainable and equal societies in the world!

Along the way, we’ll visit iconic landmarks (like the Lion's Stairs, Gustav Adolfs Torg, Stora Saluhallen, and more) while uncovering stories of kings, merchants, workers, Swedish traditions, fika culture, and everyday local life.

You’ll also get practical local tips about cafés, restaurants, nightlife, and the best places to continue exploring after the tour.

Perfect for all kind visitors who want more than just facts — this is a dynamic, emotional, and entertaining introduction to Gothenburg!
