Gothenburg on Foot: History, Culture and Secret Nooks and Crannies
Overview
From the historic docks to the most charming neighborhoods, we'll tell you stories of the kings, merchants and artists who shaped the city, and explore how Sweden became the country we know today: its political, economic and social history that shaped its culture and cities. This tour is perfect for those who want to have a first approach to Gothenburg and a relaxed walk through the heart of Gothenburg. Our idea is to make it a close tour, with historical facts, but also a casual conversation where we exchange doubts and discuss our personal experience living in Gothenburg.
We start in Stenpiren, with the Delawaremonumentet; we continue to Kronhuset, Gustaf Adolfs Torg, central square; Stora Teatern/Avenyn; Saluhallen, Systembolaget, University of Gothenburg, Hagakyrkan, Haga Quarter, we close in Järntorget, history of commerce and modern life.
If you want to leave us tips, please come with your cash or Swish (if you live in Sweden).
we are waiting for you!
