Starting in George Square, Just off the square whilst its temporarily closed at the corner of George square and Cochrane street at Piper Bar. We will enjoy the fantastic Victorian and Edwardian architecture that Glasgow is renowned for.
Moving on to Buchanan Street, we will learn about the connection with the United States Britain's first colony, Jamestown, which started the trade growth that allowed Glasgow to take advantage of the new trade in tobacco. How the Tobacco Barons became the first "Masters of the Universe." How this trade eventually led to the spark that set alight the industrial revolution right here in Glasgow. Shipbuilding, Iron and steel works, factory work, and the division of labor all started in Glasgow.
We will discover the hidden mansions. These were the world's first millionaires set up home.

The tour will end at Glasgow Cross, the site of public executions, riots, and summary justice.
