Gibraltar Upper Rock Walking Tour

Overview of the tour in Gibraltar

The duration of this Tour will is in the region of 3 hours, and we proceed at a leisurely pace which is set by the participants.

There will be numerous photo opportunities along the route as we walk up the Rock. You will get the chance to see some stunning views and many of the historical military sites that are found in the Upper Rock.

I can take you to places that you would not usually visit if you go up by taxi or minibus, and I guarantee that you will always see some of Gibraltar’s world-famous Monkeys.

You will be required to purchase an entrance ticket. The current price to enter the Nature Reserve and all the attractions is £19.00, and they insist on a Card / Contactless payment.

St Michaels Cave

The Mediterranean Steps
O'Hara’s Battery (The Highest Point)

The Top of the Charles V Steps
The Cable Car Top Station
The Great Siege Tunnels (**See Things to note**)
The Viewing Platform on Willis Road

The Tour will end back in the center of the Town.

On arrival

The meeting point for the Tour is Library Ramp, across from the front entrance of the Eliott Hotel which is in the City centre. I will be at the bottom of Library Ramp, under the Library Ramp Street Sign, and wearing a Gibraltar Official Licenced Guide Badge.

Things to note

I specialize in small groups which allows me to alter the length of the tour and extend the time we spend in one place.

The paths along the Upper Rock can be a little uneven therefore we recommend you wear suitable shoes and that you also bring along a bottle of water because it can get quite hot in the summer months.

A Face Mask is currently required to enter St Michaels Cave and the Great Siege Tunnels so please remember to bring one

For larger and private groups we can customize the length of the Tour and start when you wish.

If you want a different start time or day then this can be arranged, subject to my having availability. Message me your preferred date and time and I will let you know if I can help.

We can also arrange a Tour starting at the top and visiting the attractions as we walk down.

**Please note that we do not always enter the Great Siege Tunnels, however if you would like to do so please message me so this can be arranged. You will need to allow roughly an extra hour to visit them**.
