I'm a local, deeply connected to Fregene, and I created this bike tour to share the true soul of this place: a thousand-year history made of ancient Roman colonies, pelude, reclamation, war, architecture, nature and sea life.
We will discover how Fregene has been transformed over time, yet maintains a unique identity shaped by the sea, the pine forest and the many people who have inhabited and transformed it.
During the tour we will see:
- Torre Primavera and the origins of ancient Roman Fregenae
- The Shipyard, where modern Fregene was born
- The pine forest, symbol of the relationship between man and nature
- Historic villas, famous people and curiosities
- The waterfront, between war, forts and forgotten stories
- The fishermen's village, where the most authentic soul of Fregene survives
This is not a traditional guided tour, but a relaxed experience, made up of stories, curiosities and details that you would hardly notice on your own.

The meeting will take place in a plaza at the intersection from Sestri Levante Avenue and Pine Grove Avenue, across the street from the BBQ restaurant duepuntozero, behind a small white wooden house.
