Overview
Welcome to Frankfurt!
I’m Holger. Living here for 13 years, I know this city inside out and lead these tours with true passion. Frankfurt is a fascinating metropolis where modern skyscrapers meet a deep, soulful history in a very compact space. As the former center of the Holy Roman Empire, this city was the stage for imperial elections and coronations for centuries. It is the "cradle of German democracy," where the first national parliament met. Join me to follow in the footsteps of emperors, poets, and great thinkers!
Our Highlights:
• Römerberg & Imperial Hall: The historic heart.
• New Old Town & Hühnermarkt: Stunning reconstructions.
• House to the Golden Scales: A Renaissance jewel.
• Imperial Cathedral: Where kings were chosen.
• Saalgasse & House Wertheym: Architectural contrasts.
• Iron Bridge: Best skyline views for your photos!
• St. Paul’s Church: Symbol of freedom.
Note: This is a "Pay-what-you-want" tour. After the walk, I am happy to share my favorite local insider spots for authentic food and the best "Apfelwein" with you!
I look forward to meeting you!
Best regards,
Holger
