Free Tour in Florianopolis
Overview
While we walk, we'll learn about the native indigenous groups and about the first Portuguese settlers who founded the Portuguese village, taking us back to the 17th century.
After learning about the founders of 'Desterro', we'll make our way to the Cruz e Sousa Palace, the old headquarters of the State Government, and the November 15th Square.
The following stops will be at a Church built by the African community and Álvaro de Carvalho Theatre, one of the most beautiful monuments in the city.
We finish the tour with a toast at the Public Market, where you can have a drink or a snack, buy a souvenir, and use the restrooms.

On arrival
We will meet in front of 'Café|Bar do Largo da Alfândega', a Coffee Shop where you can grab a coffee and use the restroom. I will be wearing a tour guide credential and a white T-shirt with the words 'The Best of Floripa' written on it. I will also be holding a small, colorful umbrella.

How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Free Cancellation
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
