Overview

Discover the beauty of the Cinque Terre on a guided day trip from Florence, the ideal way to explore this stunning coastal area without stress. Located between Genoa and La Spezia, the Cinque Terre is a protected national park with winding roads, limited parking, and strict regulations, making a guided tour the most comfortable and efficient option.

Travel by van or minibus through northern Tuscany to Manarola, where your adventure begins among colorful houses and spectacular sea views. Continue by train to Vernazza, one of the most charming villages, known for its narrow streets, historic buildings, and scenic harbor. Next, reach Monterosso al Mare, the largest village, where you can enjoy sandy beaches, swim in the sea, or explore historic churches and panoramic viewpoints.

From Monterosso, take a scenic boat ride to Portovenere, a beautiful and less-crowded gem featuring the Doria Castle, the Church of San Pietro, and Byron’s Cave. Continue by boat to La Spezia before returning comfortably to Florence.

This day trip combines breathtaking landscapes, cultural highlights, and expert guidance for an unforgettable Cinque Terre experience.
