Overview
Discover the authenticity of the Ziz Valley and Berber culture on an immersive experience in the heart of southern Morocco. This excursion allows you to explore the magnificent Ziz gorges, admire abandoned Berber kasbahs and enjoy superb panoramas between palm groves and the river.
The visit to the Berber nomads takes a full day, departing in the morning and returning at the end of the day. Lunch can be shared in a Berber tent in the mountains or directly with the nomad families, as you prefer. You'll be warmly welcomed and invited to share a traditional tea.
For those with less time, the tour of the valley's abandoned kasbahs can be completed in around three hours, with stops at locations carefully chosen for their exceptional panoramic views.
The tour also includes the discovery of local products and seasonal activities, such as the harvesting of dates in October or olives in December, as well as a visit to a traditional oil mill with explanations on methods, traditions and the local way of life.

On arrival
After arriving at the Ziz gorges, through the Zaabel tunnel, coming from Fés or Meknès. It's very easy, my village Tassmaalt is the third, after Ifri, and it's marked on the road signs.
Things to note
I can also offer you good accommodation, a traditional full suite with a panoramic view. Extraordinary.
