Step into Entebbe: A Walking Experience
Overview
It is the only experience in Entebbe that brings together local daily life, historical botanical gardens, and wildlife conservation education center in a single, cohesive, walkable itinerary.
Each place visited complements the others, giving guests a balanced and well-rounded understanding of the area.
Unlike an experience that relies on car transfers between locations, this tour is entirely on foot. This eco-friendly ‘active’ transport enables guests to: benefit from healthy exercise, engage more closely with surroundings, and experience Entebbe at a natural pace.
Entebbe is one of the safest areas in Uganda for walking, as all security forces are present.

On arrival
Guests can be picked from accommodation areas within a one-kilometer radius of Kitooro Market. Or they can take a taxi/Bodaboda (motorcycle) to Kitooro taxi park. The guide will be inside the park at the Airport stage seats.
Things to note
Please carry a hat, sunscreen, a light backpack, and wear comfortable shoes/clothes for walking.
The tour is not recommended for people with limited mobility. It requires at least moderate physical fitness. The booking fee does not include entrance fees to certain sites, transportation if needed, meals, refreshments, personal expenses and tips.
Entrance fees to Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Center ( Zoo ) is paid separately at the gate.
Cancellation policy
Free Cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts. Late cancellation or your non-arrival is not refundable.
