Overview

We will walk around the Municipal Park and see: the old Archaeological Museum, the Fuente de los Corales, an old flour mill from the 17th century and views of the Vinalopó River, among other places. We will talk about customs and date palms.

Then we will arrive at the historic center, where we will explain the history of the Palacio de Altamira or Alcázar de la Señoría and the remains of the medieval wall, which are part of the Archaeological and History Museum of Elche (MAHE). From there we will also talk, on the outside, about the Misteri Museum. The Misteri is an oral and immaterial work declared a World Heritage Site.

We will pass by an 11th century hammam until we reach the Town Hall. We will also see and talk about the famous replica of the "Lady of Elche". We will pass by the Convent of La Mercé, the watchtower "La Calahorra" and the Basilica of Santa Maria, where we will finish the tour.
