Overview
We’ll visit one of the most stunning villages on the “Alsace Wine Route.” Égisheim is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Alsace and in France. Nestled amid vast vineyards at the foot of the Vosges Mountains, it seems to have been untouched by time.
Its narrow medieval streets, colorful half-timbered houses, and the many flowers that adorn the village create an incredible atmosphere.
As you climb toward the castle, you can feel the grandeur of the medieval fortifications and enjoy a magnificent view of the valley. On a clear day, you can see the Black Forest mountain range, and sometimes even the Alps.

The meeting point is on the square in front of the Colmar train station, near the decorative fountain.
If you're making your own way to Eguisheim, the meeting point is at the "Parking de la Mairie."
