Discover Edinburgh in a Few Hours Tour
Overview
Over the course of about 4 hours, we'll explore different areas of the Scottish capital, combining history, culture, nature and some of the city's best landscapes. This tour includes a relatively long route, taken at a leisurely pace.
The route starts next to Calton Hill, one of Edinburgh's most emblematic viewpoints, then continues through the elegant Georgian New Town. We continue towards Stockbridge and Dean Village, charming areas linked to the Water of Leith and the city's industrial past.
Along the way, we'll also pass through Princes Street Gardens, making the transition between the New Town and the medieval Old Town. We'll also explore the surrounding Holyrood and the Scottish Parliament, ending the tour with a complete overview of Edinburgh's history and identity.

The meeting point will be in front of the HM General Register House building at 2 Princes Street, Edinburgh, EH1 3YY, where the walk will begin (see photo).
