Overview
Our adventure begins in the heart of Edinburgh, at 190 High Street, from where we will set course for the Highlands overlooking Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument. The first stop will be at Kilmahog, entrance to the Trossachs National Park, where you can meet the famous Highland cows. Continue to the Glencoe Valley and the iconic Three Sisters Mountains, the setting for films such as Harry Potter and James Bond. After a short break at the Commando Memorial overlooking Ben Nevis, we will arrive at Fort Augustus. Here you will have 80 minutes to explore the locks of the Caledonian Canal or take a cruise on Loch Ness (additional cost: £21 adults / £19 over 60 / £14 children).
Afterwards, we will visit Inverness, the capital of the Highlands, to stroll through its old town and along the River Ness. Before returning, we will make a last stop in the Victorian village of Pitlochry. The trip concludes by crossing the Firth of Forth in front of the impressive World Heritage railway bridge, finally returning to the Scottish capital with the best recommendations of our guide.
