Overview of the tour in Dubrovnik

This tour is a bonus for all Game of Thrones fans visiting Dubrovnik. Besides Old Town providing most of the setting for King’s Landing, another stunning location just off the coast was chosen to represent the city Qarth. Only 15 minutes away by ferry, you reach an Island by the name of Lokrum, truly a gem to discover.

"Qarth" is where in season 2 Daenerys found shelter after getting lost in the desert. Beautiful gardens, wealthy people, for Daenerys this city seemed to be a good place to push on her plans to conquer Westeros. But strange things happened after her arrival, leading to the rescue of her Dragons in the House of the Undying.

After visiting King’s Landing’s most beautiful sites, it's time to explore Lokrum. No matter what, this island is definitely worth a visit and Game of Thrones happens to be the icing on the cake! The final highlight is a picture of the official "Iron Throne" in the Dominican Monastery. This is the end of the tour and then you should stay on the island with its many places to swim, hike or to eat and drink.

Look for the purple balloon, right in front of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board next to the bus stop "Pile". Address: Brsalje 5, 20000 Dubrovnik.

- ferry ticket to Lokrum Island (35 Euro p.p.). Payable in cash or by credit card.

- sunscreen and a hat if necessary due to hot temperatures
