Having a ride in an iconic car is a unique experience that cannot be experienced anywhere else in the world, actually. These cars were the pride, trademark and symbol of the former Yugoslavia and there is no local who has never owned one of the models of Zastava automobiles at some period in his life. Each of the cars has its own story, because not only were they all ‘the rage’ back in the day, but they were also treated as family members.

While on the tour, our guests will be able to hear interesting facts and stories about these legendary Zastava old-timer cars and about Dubrovnik. With wind in your hair, you will enjoy the panoramic ride with spectacular views of Dubrovnik and visit the must-see viewpoints in Dubrovnik.

We have prepared a great collection of retro accessories, so that you can get better into a role of being a local from 70s/80s and to make taking the photos even funnier. May our adventure begin!

On arrival

If your accommodation is located in the town of Dubrovnik, our Funky driver will come and pick you up at the closest point to your accommodation address, where we will return you after our adventure. If your accommodation is located outside of Dubrovnik, please contact us so that we can agree on the meeting point in Dubrovnik.

Things to note

*Zastava cars are old timers. They do not have airbags, seatbelts on the back seat or ABS brakes, but they are in perfect condition and are maintained on a daily basis.

*Summer temperatures in Dubrovnik are high, and it can get pretty hot during summer months. Zastava cars do not have an AC, but that is exactly what makes them authentic. Just open your windows and feel the hairdryer known as wind - authentic, natural and local air conditioning.

*If you are planning to take your tour in June, July or August, we recommend you wearing loose, lightweight and light-colored clothing because of high temperatures. To stay hydrated, a bottle of water is highly suggested to carry with.
