Overview of the tour in Dubrovnik
Take a walking tour by tour guide and decorated war veteran of the Old City of Dubrovnik and get to know about its past and recent history in the period of the Homeland War in Croatia.
Beginning at Ploče Gate, at the east entrance to the Old City, I will lead you to the most significant historical landmarks with enthesis on the war period. See pick-points of mortar hits, buildings that were completely burnt to the ground and restored again, damaged statues, fountains, rooftops, and much more. Listen to stories and facts during the period from 1991 of Dubrovnik’s dramatic history, and learn how the people survived. Hear first hand experience how Dubrovnik was defended on the day of the greatest battle that took place on December 6, 1991.

On arrival
Fortress Revelin (tvrđava Revelin) is located near the Ploče gate (east gate) of the old city.
Meeting point is in the middle of the square in front of the fortress.
