The "Essential Dublin Tour" is highly recommended by travelers thanks to its expert guides, who combine history, culture, and anecdotes in an entertaining way. Its accessible pace and the mix of iconic places and unique spots stand out, offering a comprehensive view of the city. Perfect for those visiting Dublin for the first time and seeking an educational and enjoyable experience.
Overview
Our tour will start in Bernard Square to immerse ourselves in a route in which we will also visit the two most important Christian temples: Christ Church Cathedral and St. Patrick's Cathedral. In addition, we will travel back in time to learn firsthand the crucial milestones that marked the history of Dublin, such as the arrival of the Vikings and the almost 800 years of harsh English repression.
Because of the River Liffey, Dublin is full of bridges. We will cross the Halfpenny Bridge and the O'Connell Bridge, the only one in Europe with more width than length, which leads to the street with the same name. In addition, we will pass through the charismatic Temple Bar neighborhood, also next to the Clarence Hotel, owned by the group U2, and Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland.
We will end our essential visit in the gardens of Dublin Castle, a historic building over a thousand years old and the seat of the British Government in Ireland until 1922.
