Free Tour Christmas in Dublin
Overview
We will start at Dublin Castle, where we will learn about the origins of Christmas or where Santa Claus' office is located. In addition, while available, we can enjoy the 'Christmas at the Castle' market.
For years, Christmas here can not be understood without the festival 'Dublin Winter Lights'. In Barnardo Square, we will learn how it works and we will delve into the meaning of some Irish traditions.
We will discover what are the Christmas Pantomimes or Boxing Day celebrations in front of the Olympia Theater, before strolling through Temple Bar, the best place to immerse ourselves in a unique Christmas atmosphere in the world.
Parliament Square and Grafton Street await us to learn what the Irish eat, where they shop or how they greet the holidays in Gaelic.
We will finish immersing ourselves in the Dublin Christmas in Mansion House, while we observe its decoration and learn how New Year's Eve and New Year is celebrated in the city or what is the Women's Christmas.

Meeting point: Next to the entrance to Dublin Castle on Palace Street, after crossing the arch. Look for a teal flag or umbrella with the name Walking Europe.
Things to note
- Our guides will be identified with a blue-green flag or umbrella with the company logo: Strolling through Europe.
- Please arrive 15 minutes in advance, as the tour will depart on time.
- Show the guide, at the meeting point, the booking confirmation email, either printed or via cell phone or tablet.
- If you will not be attending the tour, cancel your reservation so that someone else can take your place. Remember that there is no charge or surcharge.
- For groups of more than 6 adults, the price will be 8 euros per person, to be paid to the guide at the meeting point.
