By Uber/CNG: Simply set your destination to "TSC, University of Dhaka." Every driver in the city knows this landmark.
By Rickshaw: If you are staying nearby, ask the rider for "TSC Moor" (TSC Intersection).
How to find me:
I will be waiting right at the Main Entrance Gate of the TSC building (the large circular complex).
I will send you a Live Location pin and a photo of the exact spot via WhatsApp 15 minutes before we meet.
Things to note
Important Things to Note
To ensure you have the best possible experience in Dhaka, please keep the following in mind:
1. Dress Code & Etiquette
Modest Clothing: Since we will visit active religious sites like the Star Mosque, both men and women should dress modestly. Please wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees.
Mosque Entry: Women should carry a light scarf to cover their hair when entering mosques. Everyone will need to remove their shoes before stepping inside.
Right Hand: In our culture, it is polite to use your right hand for eating, shaking hands, or giving/receiving money.
2. Cash is King: Most street food vendors, rickshaws, and entry counters do not accept cards.
Covered Costs: As this is a "Free Tour" concept, guests are expected to cover all tour-related expenses (Rickshaws, Uber, entry tickets, and food) for both themselves and the guide.
3. Safety & Health
Hydration: Only drink bottled mineral water (widely available).
Valuables: Keep your phone and wallet secure, especially when riding in open rickshaws or walking through crowded markets like New Market.
Comfort: We will be doing a lot of walking/rickshaw riding ! Please wear comfortable walking shoes or sandals.
