Overview
Welcome to Dhaka, Bangladesh. Where vast wealth and grinding poverty sleeps under the same sky.
We will take a tour of this marvelous city, and move through the bustling crowds. First, we meet up at Shahbag, we take a rickshaw and go to Star Kebab for breakfast.
After that, we first take a tour around the historical campus of the University of Dhaka which was established in 1921. The astounding British architecture and the greenery attract tourists from all over.
Here we will try tea from TSC and then we go to the National Museum. After we see the relics from old times and get to know about the Bengali people we head to Lalbagh Fort to see a Mughal Fort, then Ahsan Manjil via Rickshaw.
From there, we have lunch at Beauty Boarding, which is an old place where poets and writers of old times used to come.
From there, we go to Ramna Park and then a boat rides through Hatirjheel. If we have time then the next day we can go to Sonargaon Panam city!
