Overview of the tour in Delphi

Come with us on a journey to the most magical Greece and meet Delphi with us. The home of the god Apollo was considered the center of the world, and the most important place of pilgrimage in Ancient Greece. Here the Oracle and the Pythia decided the fate of thousands of people for centuries.

On this day trip we will go to Mount Parnassus to visit Delphi, one of the most important archaeological sites outside of Athens. On the way we will not only talk about mythology and history, but you will learn much more about Greece as a country today.

After the explanations of our English-speaking guide, you will visit the remains of the sanctuary of Apollo, the archaeological museum, and the archaeological remains in the vicinity.

Once the visit to Delphi is over, we will go down for lunch and stroll through the charming village of Arakhova, a great example of Greek mountain architecture. This village is very famous for its proximity to the sanctuary of Apollo and the ski resorts of Mount Parnassus.

Important: Entrance fees to the archaeological site of Delphi and lunch are not included in the price of the activity.

On arrival

very important! Please be at the meeting point (Melina Mercouri Statue) about 10 minutes before the tour starts (7:50), as it is not possible to park at the meeting point and the transport has no option to stay there if the client has not arrived on time.
