The Haveli tour is a lively and enjoyable cultural dive right into the deep-end of Old Delhi’s jewel (Shahjahanabad). During the peak of Shah Jahan’s emperor role, his loyal noblemen (Emirs) controlled the social, cultural and economic affairs of the great metropolis of Shajahanabad from their noble, fortress-like mansions. After surviving three hundred years of decadence, war, re-building and plenty of regime changes, the smaller Havelis still managed to keep its placid beauty that reflects a different period from the past.

Get ready to be transferred back to the 17th century as you explore this ancient city of decadent Emirs, hear about coldblooded Persian invaders, woeful poets, mystical men, masterful artists and forgotten architects. Your guide will recreate the spectacular stories of people’s lives who called the Havelis home.

On arrival

The meeting point is at one of the most famous movies house in the old city, Delite Cinema! It's located at Asaf Ali Road near Turkman Gate. Walk inside after crossing the street (few steps down) and follow the lane leading inside the parking area. Once you are there, you can’t miss the orange bicycles. Welcome!
