On this tour through one of the most charming cities in the Netherlands, we will discover the medieval history of Delft, its artistic heritage, and how this city has been home to great characters, such as William of Orange or the painter Johannes Vermeer.
Delft is famous for its quiet canals, its beautiful brick houses, and its blue pottery, known worldwide as Delftware. In addition, the city is home to impressive architecture, such as the New Church, where the remains of the royal family rest, or the Old Church, also known as the Dutch Tower of Pisa because of its inclination.

On arrival
The meeting point is the Roos mill (Molen de Roos), which is located in the Phoenixstraat between two stops of the streetcar that connects The Hague and Delft (streetcar line 1, stops Delft, Nieuwe Plantage, and Delft, Prinsenhof). If you are coming from the train station, it is very easy: cross the canal and walk along Westvest Street parallel to the canal until you find Phoenixstraat.
