Overview
For all you wine and spirits enthusiasts, we have created this tour! A tour that combines all the authentic products of Crete! All the areas that you will visit are famous for their vineyards, the olive groves and their wine production since the Minoan era.
Even today, they are considered the largest area in Greece for cultivating grapes and high-quality olive oil. The first stop is a local modern olive mill surrounded by olive groves. We have a tour of the olive grove and, afterward, at the olive mill. You will have the chance to taste fresh olive oil.
The second stop is, of course, a winery. A family-owned winery that uses organic methods for cultivating. You will get a tour around the vineyards and the winery and experience wine tasting using 4 wines. The next stop is a unique distillery and then an ancient wine press. You will visit an authentic raki distillery.
Raki is the most famous Cretan spirit. You will enjoy a tour of the distillery as well as a traditional lunch and finish off the tour with a visit to a pottery lab located in a traditional village that is famous for its pottery.
