Modern Córdoba Experiential Tour: Art, Mate, and Local Life
Overview
This experience is designed for those who want to explore the city from a local perspective, combining architecture, art, urban history, green spaces, and bohemian life.
We’ll start outside the Palacio Ferreyra Museum and explore Plaza España, the area around the Dionisi and Caraffa museums, Sarmiento Park, the Laguna Encantada, the Eiffel Wheel, and the Mirador del Coniferal area.
During the tour, we’ll share a mate session and a regional Sol Serrano alfajor, adding a relaxed and authentically Cordoban touch to the experience.
We’ll then continue to the Capuchin Church—one of Córdoba’s most striking landmarks—the Paseo del Buen Pastor, Plaza Vélez Sársfield, La Cañada, and the Güemes neighborhood.
We’ll wrap up near the Paseo de las Artes, with genuine recommendations for bars, pubs, and spots to continue enjoying the Cordoba nightlife.
The tour takes place primarily outdoors, exploring the architecture, history, and cultural life of each location.

- Escaleras Parque Sarmiento
- Plazoleta Carlos Gardel (agustin ferreyra)
- Paseo del Buen Pastor
- Provincial Museum Palacio Dionisi

Our Guides
On arrival
We’ll meet at the main entrance of the Evita | Palacio Ferreyra Museum of Fine Arts, on Hipólito Yrigoyen Avenue, across from Plaza España.
The guide will be on the sidewalk in front of the museum a few minutes before the tour begins, identified as a tour guide from Andar Córdoba / NeoTuristia.
We recommend arriving 10 minutes early so we can start on time.
Things to note
The tour is on foot and takes place mainly outdoors. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing water and a jacket, depending on the time of year. The tour lasts approximately 3 hours. The itinerary may be adjusted due to weather conditions, special events, or the availability of the sites visited. Provincial museums typically close before the tour begins, so the tour focuses on exploring their architecture, history, and urban surroundings from the outside.
