Minho Free Walking Tours owes its name to the region where it operates: Minho, the North West of Portugal. At the moment, we have tours available in the cities of Braga and Guimarães, and we only work with local guides. In that, we are the only ones who work like this. We love our region and our people!

We are also the first in the city of Braga. This company started in 2016 with 2 History teachers, and now we have a cooperative of guides, so we also do personalized tours and tours for travel agencies. We have resident professionals in our team who are linked to different areas of knowledge, such as history, urbanism, heritage, and archaeology.

“Fantastic visit”

“Free walking tour of Braga”

A very beautiful tour with lots of historical information for all ages. Our guide Maria was very attentive and didn't give up on our tour even in heavy rain. We were a group of two adults, one senior citizen, and two children. Although the historical route has stone paths and some stairs, it was possible to do most of it with a stroller.

“Quick trip to Braga”
