Minho Free Walking Tours owes its name to the region where it operates: Minho, the North West of Portugal. At the moment, we have tours available in the cities of Braga and Guimarães, and we only work with local guides. In that, we are the only ones who work like this. We love our region and our people!

We are also the first in the city of Braga. This company started in 2016 with 2 History teachers, and now we have a cooperative of guides, so we also do personalized tours and tours for travel agencies. We have resident professionals in our team who are linked to different areas of knowledge, such as history, urbanism, heritage, and archaeology.

“Braga free tour”

Despite the heavy rain, the tour was very enjoyable. Our guide gave us an insightful summary of Braga's history and culture as well as taking us to some of the city's main sites.

“The guide didn't show up and left the whole group stranded ”

We waited three-quarters of an hour at the meeting place, but no one showed up, and we didn’t receive any message explaining why. There were at least 10 to 12 people waiting, and we were all quite perplexed by the situation. Since we were only going to be in Guimarães for one day, we couldn’t go on any tour after that. What a disaster!
