Coimbra Walking Guided Tour with a Local Student
Overview
Starting at Praça da República, you'll pass the Academic Association (AAC) and climb the monumental stairs, discovering student rituals and the symbolism of the iconic black cape. At the breathtaking Palace of Schools and Via Latina, you will uncover the foundations of Portugal’s oldest university. The journey then descends through a fascinating labyrinth of Roman roots, Moorish walls, and medieval grandeur.
