Next, take the Chongqing Rail Transit Line 2 from Liziba to Linjiangmen Station. This 15-20 minute subway ride efficiently brings you to Jiefangbei, the bustling commercial center of Chongqing.
In Jiefangbei, admire the iconic Liberation Monument and explore the lively pedestrian street filled with shops, cafes, and restaurants. Visit St. Joseph’s Cathedral to experience a piece of the city’s cultural and religious history.
From Jiefangbei, embark on a scenic 20-minute walk through the urban landscape to reach Hongyadong. This area is renowned for its traditional Chinese architecture, which was built into the cliffside. Explore the various floors of Hongyadong, featuring unique shops, restaurants, and bars. Enjoy the stunning views of the Jialing River, particularly beautiful at night when the area is illuminated. Discover local crafts and immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage of Chongqing.

Arriving by Metro (乘坐地铁到达):

4. You will see the Starbucks store (星巴克咖啡店) just a few steps away

Tips for Easy Spotting
• The meeting spot is directly at Exit 1 of the metro station
• Starbucks is located just a few meters to the right of the exit

Things to note
The tour lasts approximately around 3 hours, and we will drop you off at Hongyadong Cave at the end, where you can eat, shop, and do more sightseeing on your own! Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a curious heart to learn and explore!:)
Ps: We decided not to have a strict cancellation policy for visitors since we understand the complications of overseas travel planning. How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Cancellation policy
You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
