Overview

We will board our vehicle and head to Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, which is situated in the northern suburbs of Chengdu, approximately 10 kilometers away from the downtown area. Upon arrival, you will embark on a guided tour of the base’s key attractions, including the Sun Nursery, Moon Nursery, and the well-known "Panda Villas". Nestled in a setting that simulates the giant pandas’ natural wild habitat—with lush greenery and natural landscapes—this base offers you a precious opportunity to watch these lovely national treasures up close as they engage in their daily activities, such as munching on bamboo, rolling around playfully, or climbing trees.

On arrival

In the morning, shuttle buses will pick up tourists within the 3rd Ring Road of downtown Chengdu and take them to the assembly point to board the tour vehicle. Please get ready in advance according to the pickup time. The shuttle buses and tour guides will contact tourists via phone call or text message between 20:00 and 22:00 the night before departure to inform them of the pickup details—please keep your mobile phones accessible. (The pickup time is determined by the shuttle driver based on the route; please arrive at the pickup location on time. Thank you for your understanding.) Tourists who go to the assembly point by themselves are requested to arrive there on time.

Things to note

Please provide your passport information (full name, passport number, date of birth, and gender) in advance to complete the reservation. Failure to provide the passport information in a timely manner will result in order cancellation and a cancellation fee.

All visitors are required to go through airport-style security checks. Please do not bring large luggage, camera tripods, or drones.
Please ensure that all travelers carry valid ID documents/passports on the travel day. We will collect the ID documents of other travelers on-site to issue e-tickets.
