Overview

Step into a living canvas where time slows down and every corner tells a story. The medina of Chefchaouen is not just a place to visit; it is a sensory journey that transcends borders and connects cultures. Whether you're an artist in search of inspiration, a history lover chasing ancient tales or a traveler looking for a quiet getaway, these azure blue alleyways have a unique way of speaking to the soul. Together, we will wander through a labyrinth of stunning blue hues, where Moroccan traditions merge with Andalusian heritage. As we pass lively artisan workshops and whitewashed doors, you will discover the true heartbeat of the city. We'll share smiles with the locals, unveil the secrets behind the famous indigo walls and watch the golden sun sink behind the Rif Mountains. Come as a stranger, become part of history. Disconnect from the noise. Reconnect with Chaouen.

On arrival

Meeting point:

Hotel Madrid
Location: We will meet next to Hotel Madrid. I will be waiting for you. Where is it? This emblematic hotel is located on Hassan II Avenue.

Why this place? It is one of the most famous and accessible places in Chefchaouen. Cabs can drop you right at the door, which makes your arrival easier.

Important: Our team will contact you by WhatsApp or phone before the tour to confirm the exact time and provide you with the details of your guide.

Things to note

What to bring and how to dress: Come with comfortable clothes and appropriate walking shoes (sneakers or hiking shoes are strongly recommended, as the medina has cobblestone streets and steep paths). Don't forget to bring water to keep you well hydrated throughout the tour - we will have a great time exploring the medina, the beautiful Ras El Ma springs and enjoying the views!

How can the tour be free?

Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to €50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.

Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
