Sightseeing Cruise to Mount Athos
Overview
Our vessel sets sail from Ouranoupoli’s port at 11.00. After a 3-hour cruise with a clear view of the Holy Monasteries and a guided tour in multiple languages, we have a 5-minute stop above the most famous reef of the area, where you can admire the underwater sea life from the Glassbottom.
Our vessel is fully equipped with snacks and beverages at affordable prices.

On arrival
The ship departs from the only port of Ouranoupolis, where the Tower of Prosphorion is located. All travelers should embark the boat at 10.30. They should park their car in advance before reaching the port in one of the two available parking spaces in Ouranoupolis, and then walk to the boat on foot (a 5-minute walk from the parking). The ship with the name Eirinikos Glassbottom is third on the right side.
Things to note
- Women are not allowed on Mount Athos for religious reasons. Therefore, the cruise will remain at least 500 meters from the island.
- An adult must accompany children.
- Toilets are available on board.
