Discover Cebu’s history and culture:
- National Museum – learn about the Philippines before it was the Philippines.
- Fort San Pedro – step back to the Spanish Era.
- Yap-San Diego Ancestral House – see life in the 1600s.
- Magellan’s Cross – imagine early Filipino life.
You can join the full walk (3 hrs) or half walk (1–2 hrs). Families are welcome. Walking time varies by group pace. Different times may include other sites like: Fort San Pedro, Yap-San Diego House, Magellan’s Cross, National Museum, Rajah Humabon Monument, Basilica Minore del Santo Niño, Casa Gorordo Museum, Heritage of Cebu Monument, Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, Archdiocesan Museum, Colon Street, Senior Citizen Park, Puso Village.
Free Tour Concept: There’s no set price. Tip your guide at the end whatever feels right. Most guides accept cash.

On arrival
When you reach Plaza Independencia, go straight to the National Museum of the Philippines Cebu, and enter inside the museum. You can sit on the chair near the souvenir shop. I will be waiting for you. I am wearing a white shirt.
Things to note
Please bring the following:
- comfortable shoes;
- avoid big bags;
- bring water;
- hat or umbrella.
Note:
In visiting Fort San Pedro please prepare 30 pesos for the entrance fee and another 30 pesos for two (2) rides of Jeepney.
If you wish to go inside the Basilica Minore del Sto Nino, please avoid wearing shorts and revealing clothes (both for men and women), but you can bring extra ones.
