Private Water Trekking to Oxena Waterfall in Catania

Do you want to cool off against the summer heat? The Oxena Waterfall is less than an hour from Catania, and it is the perfect place to have a bath!
If you don't know me, I'm a passionate traveler of Sicily (with several informative videos published on youtube) and what I like to do most is go to the less frequented places, far from the tourist destinations, so as to be able to have a closer relationship with travelers. This place, is one of the places of my heart, as well as one of the few waterfalls that we have here in Sicily.
We park the cars and start the excursion walking along the Oxena River. What is incredible is the contrast that you will see between the blue water of the Oxena river and the black of the lava stone that surrounds the area.
We'll do the water-trekking, walking on the water of Oxena River, and after some minutes we will reach the waterfall.
As we arrive at the Ossena Waterfall, we'll pause in this serene setting to enjoy a picnic and refuel for the return journey. Feel free to take a refreshing dip in the tranquil waters at the bottom of the falls as we enjoy our meal. Don't forget to capture the mesmerizing natural beauty with some pictures!
