Overview

We will meet at the Plaza de la Trinidad, and once we are all together, we will start this free tour of two of the most famous places in Cartagena.

First, we will visit the colorful streets of the Getsemaní neighborhood, where we will appreciate the street art characteristic of the local atmosphere. This area has become one of the most popular in the city, with numerous bars, restaurants, and craft stores.

We will pass by La calle del Carretero where we will admire the beautiful colors that adorn the street, continue through the Ancho alley, the most characteristic of the neighborhood for its striking graffiti, and Lomba street, where we will contemplate a beautiful tribute to the Colombian writer and Nobel Prize for Literature Gabriel García Márquez; from there we continue to Angosto alley, known for being the street of umbrellas where we will go to the Pedregal.

From there, we will head to the majestic Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas, and once inside, we will take a guided tour of this fortress, which will take us back to colonial times. We will explore its tunnels, walls, and bastions while we tell you stories about the battles and characters that marked the city.
