On arrival
We’ll meet at the Plaza del Castillo de San Felipe, in the shadow of the famous statue of Blas de Lezo, right next to the main entrance of the fortress, on Calle 30 in the Pie del Cerro neighborhood.
I’ll be waiting for you 10 minutes before the agreed-upon time, wearing a light-colored polo shirt with the logo that reads: Momentos Cartagena Experiences, Marlon Monroy.
If you’re taking public transportation, get off at the “Castillo San Felipe” stop; if you’re arriving by taxi, tell the driver to take you to the castle’s main entrance.
Things to note
- Wear comfortable clothing, walking shoes, and bring sunscreen: there are stairs and outdoor areas.
- Admission to the castle is paid directly at the on-site ticket office; it is not included in the tour.
- Admission to the Chocolate Museum is free.
- If you’re running late, please let me know in advance; latecomers will not be admitted once the tour has started.
- Children under 15 must also pay admission to San Felipe Castle and must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
