Overview

The guided walk begins in Piazza Umberto I, funicular exit. Historical introduction and description of the activity to then start with the view of the Gulf of Naples with explanation of the urban development of the island to then continue to the old village characterized by the small streets with historic buildings to reach the belvedere on the south side to admire the famous Faraglioni and the beautiful lush nature of Capri. Continuing on to reach the streets of luxury and 5-star hotels where, however, are hidden archaeological remains from the Roman period, when emperors came on vacation or ruled from here, you will follow the most romantic street of the island and then return to the piazzetta changing part of the outward route to discover other less known but equally characteristic corners. At the end of this short tour you will know how to continue your discovery well oriented and with some valuable information

Things to note

The walk includes short uphill sections and some stairs to climb but the pace is slow with plenty of breaks for explanation and views. Comfortable shoes and carrying a little water is recommended, especially on hot days
