Overview

During this tour we will explore some historical and cultural sites that go way back as far as the 1600s:

Muizenberg Station - A magnificent Edwardian railway station building.
Het Posthuys - The oldest structure in Muizenberg, built between 1673 and 1740.
Yokahama House - The sad state of a Japanese papier mache wonder.
Rhodes Cottage Museum - The place where Cecil spent his final days.
St James Tidal Pool - Khoi story.
St James Catholic Church & Star of the Sea Convent - Filipino belief supported by Italian know-how.
Jacobs Ladder - Staircase to heaven (literally if you aren't fit).
Kalk Bay Trading Post - An artefact trove.
Brass Bell Restaurant - meals & drinks on the waves.
Fisherman Flats - A deep history of Filipino, Indonesian and Malaysian heritage.
Kalk Bay Harbour - The reason this coast became what it is today.

At the end of this tour, you will realise the beauty created when diverse people come together and understand why Cape Town is and always has been such an alluring place for all who stumble across it.
