Overview
Ecocenter "Jeyran" is a state research and production organization, which was organized in May 1977 with the aim of conservation of biodiversity, through breeding of rare and endangered species of animals, as well as conservation of the South-Western Kyzyl Kum area and environmental education of the local population. Unique place for ecotourism, which offers an opportunity to get to know the nature of the Kyzylkum desert and Bukhara. During the tour, nature lovers will meet not only the inhabitants of our desert, but also learn about rare species that need protection, and much more. There are 32 employees, among them 12 scientists. More than 40 kinds of vertebrates and 6 kinds of invertebrates living on the territory of the Ecocenter are included in the National and International Red Books.
