Overview
Meeting point: Benito Quinquela Martin Monument located at 1835 Pedro de Mendoza Avenue, in front of the museum with the same name.
We start the tour to appreciate the view of an emblematic ferry bridge called Nicolás Avellaneda, then we will walk along the Riachuelo waterfront, you will learn about the history of the old port that was key to the economic growth of Argentina in the 1880s.
Then we will arrive to the PROA Foundation, a place that gathers artists from all over the world to exhibit their works temporarily, we will visit the Vuelta de Rocha, a historical site where we will find the monument of Admiral Brown, a very important sailor in the history of Argentina.
We will cross to one of the notable bars of Buenos Aires called Bar la Perla and then we will walk around the block to appreciate the architecture and reach the Bomberos Voluntarios square.
We will walk along the magical Caminito and at the end of the tour we will visit two tenement houses from the inside to see the architecture of these historical houses where the immigrants lived when they arrived from Europe to Argentina. I look forward to seeing you.
