Overview
can you imagine touring the historic center of Buenos Aires at night? At the appointed time we will meet at the subway exit in Plaza de Mayo, an ideal place to start this night tour of the city. Once we are all there, we will discover how the lighting completely transforms the appearance of the most emblematic buildings. In front of us, the Casa Rosada, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Cabildo and the Banco Nación will reveal new textures and shadows that only appear at night.
Then we will walk to the Church of San Ignacio, where the lights enhance its colonial baroque style and the elegance of its twin towers. We will continue to the Church of San Francisco, whose carved exterior takes on a totally different character in the dark. Further on we will arrive at the Casa de la Cultura, former building of the newspaper La Prensa, which stands out for its historic illuminated canopy. From there we will continue along Avenida de Mayo to the imposing Palacio de Correos.
Finally, we will go to Puerto Madero: the Women's Bridge shining in white tones and the illuminated Dam will be the perfect postcard to close this tour of approximately two hours.
