Women in Argentine History Free Tour

This tour invites you to explore the historic streets of Buenos Aires, rediscovering the women who left an indelible mark on Argentine history. From independence heroines like Juana Azurduy to political figures such as Eva Perón and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, as well as activists like the Grandmothers of Plaza de Mayo, iconic artists such as Mercedes Sosa, and cultural icons like Mafalda. We’ll also learn about educators and scientists who transformed the country, such as Juana Manso and Cecilia Grierson.

Over the course of 2 hours and 30 minutes, we’ll walk through iconic neighborhoods like Monserrat, San Telmo, and Puerto Madero, visiting landmark sites: Plaza de Mayo, Manzana de las Luces, the Mafalda statue, the Mercedes Sosa Cultural Center, the Puente de la Mujer, and Plaza Mujeres Argentinas, among others.
