Buenos Aires from Zero: Free Tour of the Civic Axis
Overview
We go over the dramatic history that forged us: a tale of explorers, struggles for survival and dreams of greatness that made us always look across the ocean. With everything that happened here, Netflix would be filled! We walk to discover why the city is the way it is, exploring the novel-like stories that explain our present.
What you need to know:
* It's a 3 hour walk (and if the talk gets good, sometimes we'll throw in up to 3 and a half, just so you have that in mind). The group depends on who signs up, that's how it is. But we leave with a minimum of 6 on the list.
* The guide speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese, but it's not the cool thing to go around translating because it breaks the dynamic. Select your language from now on and let's go ahead.
* We make a technical stop to recharge our energy (coffee or bath).
* I'll let you know 48 hours in advance for your peace of mind.

Our Guides
On arrival
I will be standing next to the Pirámide de Mayo, the white obelisk right in the center of Plaza de Mayo. I will be easily recognizable: I will be wearing a light blue T-shirt, a blue backpack with orange details and an orange cap/ beret.
Things to note
Note that there are intermediate stops along the itinerary to observe other attractions in the city.
Physical Demand: The general demand is low, but the tour requires good condition for a 3-hour walking effort with stops.
Punctuality ("Hora Latina"): To ensure that everyone joins, official departure occurs 10 minutes after the meeting time. Stop times are estimated and flexible. Consider a margin of plus or minus 30 minutes for the finish time when scheduling your next activities.
