Overview
This tour offers a comprehensive exploration of Eva Perón's life and legacy, highlighting important sites and monuments that reflect her influential role in Argentine history. At the dazzling Plaza de Mayo, we will observe the balconies of the Casa Rosada, where Evita addressed the public. This iconic location is central to her political and social influence. The large mural of Evita on Avenida 9 de Julio, an outstanding piece of street art commemorating her legacy and impact on Argentine society. We will continue to the CGT (Confederación General de Trabajadores) building, an important landmark in the labor movement where Evita was an active participant. The tour will then take us to the Faculty of Engineering, formerly the building of the Eva Perón Foundation. This site reflects Evita's impact on social welfare and education. We will finish with a walk to the old Plaza Dorrego, where we will conclude the tour enjoying a drink at a historic bar in San Telmo.
