Overview
We’ll meet at Roque Sáenz Peña 1150. First, we’ll take the famous “BA” photo at the viewpoint of the iconic Obelisk. I’ll share some facts about that famous corner and its controversial construction. Next, we’ll head to the beautiful La Ideal café to continue our walk along Galería Guemes, where Saint-Exupéry once stayed. You'll stroll down the famous Florida Street. We’ll stop at the luxurious entrance of the old Bank of Boston, whose massive double doors have an electric pulley system. Already in Plaza de Mayo, we´ll admire the Cabildo, the Cathedral, Banco Nación, and Casa Rosada. We’ll talk about the country’s history— We’ll see important events in Argentine history that took place in this square, such as Evita´s appearance on the balcony. The glamour of Puerto Madero awaits us. We’ll enter this vibrant and seductive neighborhood, with its famous Women’s Bridge, its great restaurants and bars, and the dock with its sailboats. This is the ideal location to end the tour. You’ll have a great variety of bars and restaurants. I can recommend places to eat in Puerto Madero, so you can stay and enjoy the sunset, and watch as the port lights up
