Buenos Aires: Free Historical Tour Around the Plaza de Mayo
Overview
We will go around the square to discover one of the most outstanding streets in the world and a subway with its own brand. The Casa Rosada, where everyone knew Evita and a national hero, awaits us, next to an imposing bank that guards a particular past. We will walk through streets that recall historical landmarks, a Cathedral that sheltered the Pope and the viceregal government center where a new nation was dreamed. Now you will understand why the Argentine people are so proud.
This tour requires a minimum of 5 participants and is confirmed 2 hours prior to departure. If there is no quorum, the tour is cancelled. Even being free, every tour generates costs for the organizer for each reservation, if you will not attend, please cancel your reservation.
The tour departs even in light rain. If the forecast indicates it, it is advisable to bring an umbrella. Cancellation due to thunderstorms.

Our Guides
On arrival
We will be in the center of the Plaza de Mayo, exactly at the foot of the May Pyramid (the white obelisk surrounded by a fence, located in the geographical center of the square). It is the most iconic point and easy to locate.
You will recognize me easily: I will be wearing a light blue sweater and an orange beret. I will also be wearing a blue backpack with orange details and dark glasses. I will be standing at the base of the Pyramid waiting for the group.
Things to note
All the places are visited on foot from the outside. At the end of the tour, you will be able to visit the Casa Rosada Museum, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Historic Cabildo on your own and free of charge, subject to their own schedules and conditions. Please note that at departure times after 17:00 you will not find these places open to enter the same day, but you will be able to return at another time. We recommend you bring comfortable shoes and keep an eye out for messages on the platform after your reservation, where we will send you the exact location and useful tips for your visit.
This is an outdoor tour that can be done even in the drizzle. In case of heavy rain, we will reschedule or cancel according to the forecast. Please make sure the phone number on your reservation is correct, as we will contact you by WhatsApp to send you the exact location of the meeting point. If you booked for the same day or at the last minute, we ask you to be attentive to our message to confirm your attendance and avoid delays.
