On arrival
If you are near the marina or the main square, you'll see the stone-walled entrance to the Old Town.
If you are walking along Njegoševa Street (just outside the Old Town), as you exit or walk along the southern side of the city walls, you'll pass the Hotel Avala on your right.
The necropolis is located near the hotel Avala:
- Look for a marked archaeological site right next to or slightly behind the Hotel, just a few meters away from the sea.
- The area may look like a small park or stone ruin, with visible stone tombs and glass covers protecting excavated sections.
