Overview
Welcome to Brussels, capital of Belgium and one of the most important political centers in Europe. Our tour begins at the impressive Grand Place, considered one of the most beautiful squares in the world and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by richly decorated guild buildings and the majestic Gothic Town Hall, this square has been for centuries the historical and commercial heart of the city.
A few minutes walk away we find the famous Manneken Pis, a small 17th century statue that, despite its size, has become one of the most famous symbols of Brussels. We continue to the Royal Palace of Brussels, administrative residence of the Belgian monarchy, located opposite the Brussels Park, a green space ideal for walking.
Then we head to the Rue de la Loi, where we find emblematic buildings of the European Union as the Berlaymont Building, headquarters of the European Commission.
Finally we visit the majestic Parc du Cinquantenaire, famous for its monumental arch and museums such as the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and Military History and Autoworld, part of the history and culture of the city.
